Public Health Wales

Public Health Wales is one of the 11 organisations which makes up NHS Wales. They are the national public health agency in Wales, working to protect and improve health and well-being and reduce health inequalities for the people of Wales.

The Public Health Wales Evidence Service was set up in 2014 to help ensure good quality research evidence is at the heart of public health decision making in Wales. The Evidence Service does this by supporting Public Health Wales colleagues with their evidence needs through training, providing resources and attending meetings for evidence-based projects, as well producing a range of evidence review outputs.
