NHS Wales Library and Knowledge Service
We have libraries in each of the major hospitals in Wales, providing a friendly and helpful service to support patient care, education, professional development and research for staff and students on placement.
Each library provides an extensive range of services including:
- Access to book and journal collections, print and online, searchable via our catalogue, NHS Wales LibrarySearch
- Training and advice on the use of resources including the NHS Wales e-Library for Health
- Literature searches, including support for Systematic Reviews
- Current awareness updates
- Sourcing books and articles not available locally
- Study space and IT facilities
- Outreach services for staff working in the community or primary care
- Advice on copyright
