The Maudsley Reference Guide (also known as the MPG) contains the prescribing guidelines on the safe and effective prescribing of psychotropic medication currently used in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. It contains guidance on drug choice, minimum and maximum doses, adverse effects, switching medications, prescribing for special patient groups, and more.

Created by Wrexham Maelor Hospital, the NEWT Guidelines are a resource for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals providing or administering medicines to patients with swallowing difficulties. It includes information on the legal aspects of altering licensed medicine formulations, how to prepare solid dose formulations for administration via enteral feeding tubes, and how to solve problems such as tube blockage and enteral feed interactions

It is produced in-house at the British Library and hosted on the Wolters Kluwer OVID platform. It includes a range of international titles. Coverage dates from 1985 to the present and is updated with new content monthly.
The Cochrane Library is a collection of six databases providing systematic reviews, abstracts of clinical trials, answers to clinical questions, protocols, editorials and more. Database coverage ranges from 1992 to the present and is updated quarterly. It is headquartered in the UK. NHS Wales e-Library's subscription to Cochrane Library provides access to everyone living or working in Wales.

MEDLINE is a bibliographic database of life sciences and biomedical information produced by the National Library of Medicine in the United States. It is updated daily and includes literature published from 1966 to present.
BMJ Best Practice is a clinical decision support tool designed to provide clinicians with quickly accessible information at the point of care to support decision making. It is structured around the patient consultation and can provide advice on symptom evaluation, tests to order and treatment approach.
ClinicalKey is a searching tool designed to capture content published by Elsevier in range of health and care specialties. It contains access to clinical decision support resources, e-Books, calculators, e-Journals, procedural videos, and multimedia content. It also connects to NICE guidelines.
